As the crisp autumn air settles over the United Kingdom, the nation's property market is experience a small rebound. After months of uncertainty and stagnation, fuelled by economic turbulence and rising interest rates, Britain's housing sector is showing signs of life.
Two main concerns affect the market currently: uncertainty among wealthy buyers ahead of the 30 October UK budget and landlords selling properties due to refinancing costs and potential tax changes. The future direction of prices largely depends on interest rates, with some five-year fixed mortgages now available below 4 percent.
