Nvidia is partying hard as revenues grow

Nvidia has a lot of reasons to party. Its revenues have more than doubled in a year soaring past 100 billion dollars, yet the company has only hired around 6,400 extra staff. That is a relatively modest headcount growth of 20 percent compared to the eye-watering 114 percent revenue jump.

Much of this success is tied to the AI boom, as Nvidia’s chips power everything from data centres to self-driving projects. Analysts note that around 75 percent of employees focus on R&D, meaning they are crafting the technology that keeps Nvidia at the cutting edge.
