From a shaky coalition government to a troubled automotive sector, Germany’s outlook might look grim. Yet analysts believe the country’s top listed companies could deliver over 10 percent earnings growth this year – more than any other major European index.

I'm not really surprised. Personally, I think this is a reversion to the mean. I've learnt never to underestimate Germany, even if the Germans do themselves. Germany is a very powerful and dynamic economy. Moreover, I believe it will continue to be for sometime. It's very easy to be seduced by the pessimism that currently shrouds the German nation. This is especially true when its own population doubt its strength.
