The GDP of China and India since the 1960

Since the 1990s, China's GDP growth has substantially outpaced India's, expanding the economic gap significantly between the two nations.
Some of the reasons given are due to China's earlier economic reforms, its focus on export-oriented growth, and substantial investments China has made in infrastructure, education and healthcare during this period.
To narrow the existing GDP gap with China, India may need to undertake significant economic reforms including reducing government intervention in the economy, fostering a favourable investment climate, facilitating ease of doing business and enhancing the education and healthcare sectors.
