China flirts with deflation, while the West struggles with inflation

One of the first lessons I ever learnt about inflation is that it is generally a global phenomenon. I cannot argue with that.

However, I couldn’t help but look at the UK because I’m British after all. Nonetheless, it might be useful to use the UK as a case study.
